TRIGO Group, a leading international provider of quality solutions, has signed an agreement with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to conduct an 18-month quality development program for the Indian aerospace industry.
TRIGO and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under the guidance of Mr. Manohar Parrikar, India Ministry of Defense, to work mutually on a quality uplift program for the Indian aerospace industry.
The agreement initiates a cluster approach in which India’s small and medium enterprises will undergo an 18-month quality development program organized by the Confederation of IndianIndustry (CII) and conducted by TRIGO in order to uplift their quality standards and production, commencing in the upcoming weeks.
„TRIGO and CII will be working together on a capability build up program for the Indian aerospace industry, where SME and MSME’s will be uplifted in terms of manufacturing capability and quality production services,” says Emmanuel Marquis, Executive Vice President of TRIGO Aerospace & Heavy Transportation Business Line.
“We expect more and more Indian companies and manufacturers to be able to address the aerospace market, and we also expect more OEM and Tier1 suppliers to source through new suppliers of the Indian industry.”
This innovative approach is seen as a major contribution to leverage the Indian aerospace industry and is a key contribution to the ‘Make in India’ program.
