The Mouser-sponsored No. 13 Rebellion Racing R-One car heads into the season finale, the Six Hours of Bahrain, as champions in the LMP1 Privateer Class in the 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship. The No. 13 car — driven by the dynamic team of Matheo Tuscher, Dominik Kraihamer and Alexandre Imperatori — hasn’t shown the competition any mercy this season. Their last challenge of 2016 will come November 19 in the Persian Gulf Kingdom of Bahrain.
Mouser Electronics is partnering with valued supplier LEMO, a global leader in the design and production of precision custom connection solutions, to sponsor Rebellion Racing through the entire 2016 season. The team has dominated the competition with 10 consecutive wins across two seasons to secure the 2016 LMP1 Privateer trophy.
“The Number 13 car team has been incredible this season,” said Todd McAtee, Vice President, Americas Business Development, Mouser Electronics. “With solid performances on challenging courses, the Rebellion team holds the top two positions in the classification.”
After coming in second in the LMP1 Privateer Class on November 6 at the Six Hours of Shanghai, the Rebellion team’s No. 13 car leads the class with 168 points, a full 77 points ahead of the competition as it heads to Bahrain.
“Our sponsorship of Rebellion Racing is a perfect fit,” McAtee added. “Just as Rebellion excels on the track, Mouser consistently excels in distributing the newest, most advanced high-quality electronic components from our manufacturer partners like LEMO. We take pride in distributing fast and accurate deliveries with best-in-class customer service.”
